These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of the Lasiter Edge website and any consulting or related services provided by Lasiter Edge / Derek Lasiter (“Lasiter Edge,” “we,” “us,” or “I”).
By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who We Are
Lasiter Edge is a consulting practice based in Modesto, California. We use the Revenue Visibility System with independent hotels and local service businesses. Services are scoped to each engagement and may include visibility work, perception and reputation systems, conversion processes, training, playbooks, and related advisory work.
2. No Public Pricing
Fees are not listed as fixed public packages on this website. Pricing is determined by the scope of work, the market, and the engagement agreed upon in writing before work begins. No work is owed until that agreement is in place.
3. Nature of the Services
Lasiter Edge provides consulting, systems, and implementation support. We do not sell software, a SaaS platform, or guaranteed media placement.

Search platforms and AI systems are controlled by third parties and can change at any time.
4. Exclusivity
If exclusivity is part of an engagement, it will be defined in writing before work begins.
Exclusivity applies only as written in the engagement terms and only while that engagement remains active.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide timely access, accurate information, and reasonable cooperation needed to perform the work. This may include access to business profiles, websites, review platforms, staff, and relevant business details.
Delays caused by missing access or incomplete information may affect timelines and results.
6. Payment
Payment terms are set in the individual engagement agreement. Work may be paused or ended if invoices are not paid as agreed.
7. Cancellation
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, either party may end an ongoing engagement with written notice. Fees already earned or work already performed remain due. Unused prepaid amounts, if any, are handled as stated in the engagement agreement.
8. Intellectual Property
Playbooks, processes, templates, training materials, and other Lasiter Edge materials remain the property of Lasiter Edge unless a written agreement says otherwise. Clients receive a limited right to use delivered materials for their own business during the engagement.
You may not resell, copy, or distribute Lasiter Edge materials to third parties without written permission.
9. Website Use
This website is for general information. Content may change without notice. We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from this site.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lasiter Edge is not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data, or indirect damages arising from use of the website or the services. Total liability for any claim related to the services is limited to the fees paid to Lasiter Edge for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
